Description

I have MCP Servers exposed via https://github.com/open-webui/mcpo
Using type = remote in opencode.json doesn't seem to work with these openapi type endpoints

Just curious if this is on the radar or if there is a way to use a gateway style mcpo for tools

  • #9425: Remote MCP type shows 'connected' but silently fails to register tools (exact same symptom)
  • #8058: Add HTTP Streamable transport support for remote MCP servers (mcpo gateway may use this transport)
  • #11417: Session ends after MCP tool calls when using Anthropic-compatible gateways (relates to gateway-style configurations)
  • #8406: Connection hangs with non-standard SSE/HTTP servers (mcpo may have non-standard handshake patterns)
