The early hosted CI run on b175b1f9ed (run 42408093869, job Lint) failed
the #6149 blocking-calls ratchet: eight file budgets were exceeded by
sites added in 821c478eb9, c49fd2c331 and 91fd65705a without updating
the budget. Each site was checked for an inline async caller:
- runtime_api/jobs.rs: resolve_job_cwd / canonical_job_path are sync
helpers whose only callers run inside spawn_blocking (jobs.rs 665, 711)
or tests.
- runtime_api/plugins.rs: ui_root_matches / prepare_plugin_ui run inside
the spawn_blocking blocks at 1279 and 1327.
- paths/lib.rs and paths/daemon_socket.rs: root-owned symlink ancestor
resolution for the daemon socket path, synchronous startup code.
- plugins/marketplace/document.rs and plugins/registry.rs: synchronous
library code in the reviewed-plugin registry and marketplace reader.
Only those eight entries are raised, using counts from a clean export of
origin/main, so uncommitted work in the shared checkout cannot skew them.
Optional tightenings (subagent/mod.rs, file_frecency.rs,
private_directory.rs) are left for the owners' next --update.
Verified: check-blocking-calls-budget.py exits 0 against a git archive
of origin/main with this budget.
