Simon J. Gerraty 9ca2cfeb4e libsecureboot: add support for more signatures
For 2027 we need to support new, stronger signatures and hashes.

Re-work Makefile.inc and local.trust.mk to define
VE_SIGN_URL_LIST or VE_SIGNATURE_LIST (can be derrived from
VE_SIGN_URL_LIST) containing tuples of sig/method/hash/flags and
for VE_SIGN_URL_LIST the same plus /url.

From VE_SIGNATURE_LIST we derrive VE_SIGNATURE_EXT_LIST used to populate
signature_ext_list which defines the order in which we look for
signatures for a manifest.

We also populate signature_info_list which maps a signature ext to the
needed hash and flags to indicate whether that hash needs to be repeated.

verify_sig will lookup signature_info_list, no match means not
supported. For asc we just call verify_asc() otherwise we call
verify_ec() or verify_rsa() depending on the key type found in the
certificate chain, we pass the signature_info entry to these so they
know which hash to use and whether to repeat it.

The need to repeat the hash is a consequence of sending a hash to a
server using signature methods that insiste on hashing their input.
To-date only our original ECDSA signatures use this.
A FakeHash class added in 2012 avoids that wrinkle.

This is a much more flexible arrangement and should be more
readily usable by others.

FreeBSD Source:

This is the top level of the FreeBSD source directory.

FreeBSD is an operating system used to power modern servers, desktops, and embedded platforms. A large community has continually developed it for more than thirty years. Its advanced networking, security, and storage features have made FreeBSD the platform of choice for many of the busiest web sites and most pervasive embedded networking and storage devices.

For copyright information, please see the file COPYRIGHT in this directory. Additional copyright information also exists for some sources in this tree - please see the specific source directories for more information.

The Makefile in this directory supports a number of targets for building components (or all) of the FreeBSD source tree. See build(7), config(8), FreeBSD handbook on building userland, and Handbook for kernels for more information, including setting make(1) variables.

For information on the CPU architectures and platforms supported by FreeBSD, see the FreeBSD website's Platforms page.

For official FreeBSD bootable images, see the release page.
