* test: assert absolute-path facts without frozen sentences
Sibling path tests now require the field path, invalid_format, and regex
expectation, and they record that each negative case ran. NUL rejection
follows the argument that contains the byte instead of searching for the
word NUL.
* test: retain actionable NUL path diagnostics

* fix(cli): advertise domain constraints for selector and path options
Android class, method, and mapping fields, ADB setting keys, and browser
endpoints used bare strings in --schema. They now reuse the domain fields,
so empty selectors, relative mapping paths, and malformed setting keys
fail in the advertised schema.
* fix(cli): keep selector limits when argument parsing rejects them
Empty browser and Electron selectors now fail in the CLI parser, so their
diagnostics are VALIDATION_ERROR with the one-character minimum. ADB
setting keys stay on the selector repair path, which restores maximum 256
and the identifier pattern.
* test(cli): assert empty-selector codes without frozen prose
Empty browser and Electron selectors still fail as VALIDATION_ERROR
too_small on the named field. The tests no longer copy Zod's sentence.
* test(cli): compare endpoint diagnostics with the domain schema
Browser and Inspector tests take custom issue text from the schema that
owns it, and empty capture comparison must name both missing inspection
fields.
* fix(cli): remove duplicate merged schema import

* fix(mcp): advertise absolute paths for tools that reject relative inputs
The domain schemas accepted relative paths, then handlers rejected them
with isAbsolute. Those inputs now use absoluteLocalPathStringSchema, and
the duplicate handler checks are gone.
* fix(javascript): own recovery path admission in the schema
Relative recovery paths now fail in absoluteLocalPathStringSchema, including
the additional_paths index. Drop the duplicate handler check, and make the
CLI, MCP, and tools/list tests assert that schema fact.
* test: assert absolute-path facts instead of error prose
Recovery and web-script tests keep the field, format code, and regex
expectation. They no longer freeze the schema's explanatory sentence.

* fix(desktop): launch spaced REA archives and Electron apps
Link the unpacked REA entrypoint to a fixed path so a top folder with
spaces is not split by the generated rea launcher. When a build request
marks the app as Electron, rewrite its installed desktop command with
the export path's launch policy before gtk-launch.
* fix(desktop): escape rewritten Exec values for desktop files
Command quoting alone left literal backslashes one escape short of the
desktop-entry value layer, so gio rejected the rewritten entry. Escape
the command with the same rules parseDesktopEntry undoes before writing
the Exec line.

* fix(mcp): guide retained evidence input recovery
* style(mcp): format catalog and server types
* test(mcp): verify HTTP capacity recovery guidance
* test(mcp): model catalog recorder imports in cleanup fixtures
record-mcp-catalog.mjs loads tool contracts and the Evidence-input
contract before it registers cleanup owners. The cleanup fixture still
sentineled only the previous imports, so those loads failed before any
owner wrote cleanup.jsonl. Track the script's read() calls and replace
the new modules with the empty contract list this fault injection uses.

* test(mcp): join the failed-open gate before restoring its spy
The snapshot-switch gate waited only on its acknowledgement, so a request
that settled early hung until the runner timeout, and a later assertion
failure restored the spy while that request was still in flight. Race the
acknowledgement and join the launched open in finally before mockRestore.

A trace keeps linked sources on the result. Use those records for the

* fix(javascript): remove duplicate childNodes import
The squash of #7967 re-added the import already introduced in afc18131f,

* test(gdb): expect the command-output cap limitation
The retained-record limitation now names the command-output setting.

* test(cli): keep rejected mcp add values off Amp settings
mcp add now rejects a flag in the --command value position. The Amp
registration test still treated that invocation as a successful selection.

* fix: retain address context cleanup failures
* fix!: preserve address context input errors
BREAKING CHANGE: Strict clients that cached the previous full inspect_address_context output schema must refresh tools/list and accept the typed error field on unavailable facets.
* test: use session contract for address context
Reject native view sources whose predicate disagrees with the selected operation. Use the original predicate for existing Evidence; do not alter a record without recomputing its identity.
