6b625fde5e disas: cris: QOMify target specific disas setup
Move the target_disas() cris specifics to the QOM disas_set_info() hook
and delete the cris specific code in disas.c.

This also now adds support for monitor_disas() to cris.

E.g.
(qemu) xp 0x40004000
0000000040004000: 0x1e6f25f0

And before this patch:
(qemu) xp/i 0x40004000
0x40004000: Asm output not supported on this arch

After:
(qemu) xp/i 0x40004000
0x40004000:  di
(qemu) xp/i 0x40004002
0x40004002:  move.d 0xb003c004,$r1

ea3e984740 cpu-exec: Purge all uses of ENV_GET_CPU()
Remove un-needed usages of ENV_GET_CPU() by converting the APIs to use

4bad9e392e cpu: Change cpu_exec_init() arg to cpu, not env
The callers (most of them in target-foo/cpu.c) to this function all
have the cpu pointer handy. Just pass it to avoid an ENV_GET_CPU() from
core code (in exec.c).

5a790cc4b9 cpu: Add Error argument to cpu_exec_init()
Add an Error argument to cpu_exec_init() to let users collect the
error. This is in preparation to change the CPU enumeration logic
in cpu_exec_init(). With the new enumeration logic, cpu_exec_init()
can fail if cpu_index values corresponding to max_cpus have already
been handed out.

Since all current callers of cpu_exec_init() are from instance_init,
use error_abort Error argument to abort in case of an error.

d49190c420 disas: Remove uses of CPU env
disas does not need to access the CPU env for any reason. Change the
APIs to accept CPU pointers instead. Small change pattern needs to be
applied to all target translate.c. This brings us closer to making
disas.o a common-obj and less architecture specific in general.

42a268c241 tcg: Change translator-side labels to a pointer
This is improved type checking for the translators -- it's no longer
possible to accidentally swap arguments to the branch functions.

Note that the code generating backends still manipulate labels as int.

With notable exceptions, the scope of the change is just a few lines
for each target, so it's not worth building extra machinery to do this
change in per-target increments.

ec53b45bcd exec.c: Drop TARGET_HAS_ICE define and checks
The TARGET_HAS_ICE #define is intended to indicate whether a target-*
guest CPU implementation supports the breakpoint handling. However,
all our guest CPUs have that support (the only two which do not
define TARGET_HAS_ICE are unicore32 and openrisc, and in both those
cases the bp support is present and the lack of the #define is just
a bug). So remove the #define entirely: all new guest CPU support
should include breakpoint handling as part of the basic implementation.

339aaf5b7f qemu-log: add log category for MMU info
Running barebox on qemu-system-mips* with '-d unimp' overloads
stderr by very very many mips_cpu_handle_mmu_fault() messages:

  mips_cpu_handle_mmu_fault address=b80003fd ret 0 physical 00000000180003fd prot 3
  mips_cpu_handle_mmu_fault address=a0800884 ret 0 physical 0000000000800884 prot 3
  mips_cpu_handle_mmu_fault pc a080cd80 ad b80003fd rw 0 mmu_idx 0

So it's very difficult to find LOG_UNIMP message.

The mips_cpu_handle_mmu_fault() messages appear on enabling ANY
logging! It's not very handy.

Adding separate log category for *_cpu_handle_mmu_fault()
logging fixes the problem.

fae38221e7 target-cris/translate.c: fix out of bounds read
In function t_gen_mov_TN_preg and t_gen_mov_preg_TN, The begin check about the
validity of in-parameter 'r' is useless. We still access cpu_PR[r] in the

2472b6c07b gdbstub: Allow target CPUs to specify watchpoint STOP_BEFORE_ACCESS flag
GDB assumes that watchpoint set via the gdbstub remote protocol will
behave in the same way as hardware watchpoints for the target. In
particular, whether the CPU stops with the PC before or after the insn
which triggers the watchpoint is target dependent. Allow guest CPU
code to specify which behaviour to use. This fixes a bug where with
guest CPUs which stop before the accessing insn GDB would manually
step forward over what it thought was the insn and end up one insn
further forward than it should be.

We set this flag for the CPU architectures which set
gdbarch_have_nonsteppable_watchpoint in gdb 7.7:
ARM, CRIS, LM32, MIPS and Xtensa.

37654d9e6a target-cris/translate.c: Remove _t_gen_mov_TN_env and _t_gen_mov_env_TN
The wrapper functions _t_gen_mov_TN_env and _t_gen_mov_env_TN are only
used via their accompanying non-underscore macros. The check they add
on offset is thus pointless, since the compiler will complain if the
struct field passed to the macro is not part of the struct. Remove the
functions and make the macros directly expand to the appropriate
tcg_gen_{ld,st}_tl calls.

This conveniently avoids a warning due to _t_gen_mov_TN_env() being
unused.

If we added enough __extension__ markers that we could dare use
-Wpedantic, we'd see

  warning: ISO C does not allow extra ‘;’ outside of a function

This will become a hard error in the next patch, wherein those ; will
appear in the middle of a data structure.

14a10fc399 cpu: Partially revert "cpu: Change qemu_init_vcpu() argument to CPUState"
Commit c643bed99 moved qemu_init_vcpu() calls to common CPUState code.
This causes x86 cpu-add to fail with "KVM: setting VAPIC address failed".

The reason for the failure is that CPUClass::kvm_fd is not yet
initialized in the following call graph:
->x86_cpu_realizefn
 ->x86_cpu_apic_realize
  ->qdev_init
   ->device_set_realized
    ->device_reset (hotplugged == 1)
     ->apic_reset_common
      ->vapic_base_update
       ->kvm_apic_vapic_base_update
This causes attempted KVM vCPU ioctls to fail.

By contrast, in the non-hotplug case the APIC is reset much later, when
the vCPU is already initialized.

As a quick and safe solution, move the qemu_init_vcpu() call back into
the targets' realize functions.

986a299893 gdbstub: Replace GET_REG*() macros with gdb_get_reg*() functions
This avoids polluting the global namespace with a non-prefixed macro and
makes it obvious in the call sites that we return.

Semi-automatic conversion using, e.g.,
 sed -i 's/GET_REGL(/return gdb_get_regl(mem_buf, /g' target-*/gdbstub.c
followed by manual tweaking for sparc's GET_REGA() and Coding Style.

a0e372f0c4 cpu: Introduce CPUState::gdb_num_regs and CPUClass::gdb_num_core_regs
CPUState::gdb_num_regs replaces num_g_regs.
CPUClass::gdb_num_core_regs replaces NUM_CORE_REGS.

Allows building gdb_register_coprocessor() for xtensa, too.

As a side effect this should fix coprocessor register numbering for SMP.
