Rahman Lavaee b97c954528 Extend BasicBlock sections to allow specifying clusters of basic blocks
in the same section.

This allows specifying BasicBlock clusters like the following example:
!foo
!!0 1 2
!!4
This places basic blocks 0, 1, and 2 in one section in this order, and
places basic block #4 in a single section of its own.

Sriraman Tallam 5afa21a58e Basic Block Sections support in LLVM.
This is the second patch in a series of patches to enable basic block
sections support.

This patch adds support for:

* Creating direct jumps at the end of basic blocks that have fall
through instructions.
* New pass, bbsections-prepare, that analyzes placement of basic blocks
in sections.
* Actual placing of a basic block in a unique section with special
handling of exception handling blocks.
* Supports placing a subset of basic blocks in a unique section.
* Support for MIR serialization and deserialization with basic block
sections.

Aditya Nandakumar 6daddf8fea [GlobalISel]: Fix some non determinism exposed in CSE due to not notifying observers about mutations + add verification for CSE
https://reviews.llvm.org/D67133

While investigating some non determinism (CSE doesn't produce wrong
code, it just doesn't CSE some times) in GISel CSE on an out of tree
target, I realized that the core issue was that there were lots of code
that mutates (setReg, setRegClass etc), but doesn't notify observers
(CSE in this case but this could be any other observer). In order to
make the Observer be available in various parts of code and to avoid
having to thread it through various API, the MachineFunction now has the
observer as field. This allows it to be easily used in helper functions
such as constrainOperandRegClass.
Also added some invariant verification method in CSEInfo which can
catch these issues (when CSE is enabled).

We're planning to remove the shufflemask operand from ShuffleVectorInst
(D72467); fix GlobalISel so it doesn't depend on that Constant.

The change to prelegalizercombiner-shuffle-vector.mir happens because
the input contains a literal "-1" in the mask (so the parser/verifier
weren't really handling it properly). We now treat it as equivalent to
"undef" in all contexts.

Matt Arsenault 00e1bbce35 Work on cleaning up denormal mode handling
Cleanup handling of the denormal-fp-math attribute. Consolidate places
checking the allowed names in one place.

This is in preparation for introducing FP type specific variants of
the denormal-fp-mode attribute. AMDGPU will switch to using this in
place of the current hacky use of subtarget features for the denormal
mode.

Introduce a new header for dealing with FP modes. The constrained
intrinsic classes define related enums that should also be moved into
this header for uses in other contexts.

The verifier could use a check to make sure the denorm-fp-mode
attribute is sane, but there currently isn't one.

Currently, DAGCombiner incorrectly asssumes non-IEEE behavior by
default in the one current user. Clang must be taught to start
emitting this attribute by default to avoid regressions when this is
switched to assume ieee behavior if the attribute isn't present.

Amy Huang d21fc4d81f Recommit "Add a heap alloc site marker field to the ExtraInfo in MachineInstrs"
Summary:
Fixes some things from original commit at https://reviews.llvm.org/D69136. The main
change is that the heap alloc marker is always stored as ExtraInfo in the machine
instruction instead of in the PointerSumType because it cannot hold more than
4 pointer types.

Add instruction marker to MachineInstr ExtraInfo. This does almost the
same thing as Pre/PostInstrSymbols, except that it doesn't create a label until
printing instructions. This allows for labels to be put around instructions that
are deleted/duplicated somewhere.
Use this marker to track heap alloc site call instructions.

Andrew Paverd d090368b0c Add Windows Control Flow Guard checks (/guard:cf).
Summary:
A new function pass (Transforms/CFGuard/CFGuard.cpp) inserts CFGuard checks on
indirect function calls, using either the check mechanism (X86, ARM, AArch64) or
or the dispatch mechanism (X86-64). The check mechanism requires a new calling
convention for the supported targets. The dispatch mechanism adds the target as
an operand bundle, which is processed by SelectionDAG. Another pass
(CodeGen/CFGuardLongjmp.cpp) identifies and emits valid longjmp targets, as
required by /guard:cf. This feature is enabled using the `cfguard` CC1 option.

Guillaume Chatelet 5ec84d66c8 [LLVM][Alignment] Make functions using log of alignment explicit
Summary:
This patch renames functions that takes or returns alignment as log2, this patch will help with the transition to llvm::Align.
The renaming makes it explicit that we deal with log(alignment) instead of a power of two alignment.
A few renames uncovered dubious assignments:

 - `MirParser`/`MirPrinter` was expecting powers of two but `MachineFunction` and `MachineBasicBlock` were using deal with log2(align). This patch fixes it and updates the documentation.
 - `MachineBlockPlacement` exposes two flags (`align-all-blocks` and `align-all-nofallthru-blocks`) supposedly interpreted as power of two alignments, internally these values are interpreted as log2(align). This patch updates the documentation,
 - `MachineFunctionexposes` exposes `align-all-functions` also interpreted as power of two alignment, internally this value is interpreted as log2(align). This patch updates the documentation,

Reid Kleckner aec41a7a6c [ADT] Notify ilist traits about in-list transfers
Summary:
Previously no client of ilist traits has needed to know about transfers
of nodes within the same list, so as an optimization, ilist doesn't call
transferNodesFromList in that case. However, now there are clients that
want to use ilist traits to cache instruction ordering information to
optimize dominance queries of instructions in the same basic block.
This change updates the existing ilist traits users to detect in-list
transfers and do nothing in that case.

After this change, we can start caching instruction ordering information
in LLVM IR data structures. There are two main ways to do that:
- by putting an order integer into the Instruction class
- by maintaining order integers in a hash table on BasicBlock

I plan to implement and measure both, but I wanted to commit this change
first to enable other out of tree ilist clients to implement this
optimization as well.

Heejin Ahn d9006dde10 Reland "[WebAssembly] LSDA info generation"
Summary:
This adds support for LSDA (exception table) generation for wasm EH.
Wasm EH mostly follows the structure of Itanium-style exception tables,
with one exception: a call site table entry in wasm EH corresponds to
not a call site but a landing pad.

In wasm EH, the VM is responsible for stack unwinding. After an
exception occurs and the stack is unwound, the control flow is
transferred to wasm 'catch' instruction by the VM, after which the
personality function is called from the compiler-generated code. (Refer
to WasmEHPrepare pass for more information on this part.)

This patch:
- Changes wasm.landingpad.index intrinsic to take a token argument, to
make this 1:1 match with a catchpad instruction
- Stores landingpad index info and catch type info MachineFunction in
before instruction selection
- Lowers wasm.lsda intrinsic to an MCSymbol pointing to the start of an

unifies them with one `MachineFunction::addLandingPad` function, which
now has functionlities of both functions.

Jessica Paquette d1afddc21f Add size remarks to MachineFunctionPass
This adds per-function size remarks to codegen, similar to what we have in the
IR layer as of r341588. This only impacts MachineFunctionPasses.

This does the same thing, but for `MachineInstr`s instead of just
`Instructions`. After this, when a `MachineFunctionPass` modifies the number of
`MachineInstr`s in the function it ran on, you'll get a remark.

To enable this, use the size-info analysis remark as before.

Sanjin Sijaric 1c37809eaa Make HasWinCFI a plain bool instead of Optional<bool>
Summary:
Reid suggested making HasWinCFI a plain bool defaulting to false in D50288.

It's needed in order to add HasWinCFI to MIRPrinter. Otherwise, we'll get the
assertion:

HasWinCFI.hasValue() && "HasWinCFI not set yet!"'

Also, a few ARM64 Windows test cases will fail with the same assert if the ARM64
MCLayer part of EH work (D50166) goes in before the frame lowering part that
sets HasWinCFI (D50288 as of now).

Chandler Carruth 8079aabce6 [MI] Change the array of MachineMemOperand pointers to be
a generically extensible collection of extra info attached to
a `MachineInstr`.

The primary change here is cleaning up the APIs used for setting and
manipulating the `MachineMemOperand` pointer arrays so chat we can
change how they are allocated.

Then we introduce an extra info object that using the trailing object
pattern to attach some number of MMOs but also other extra info. The
design of this is specifically so that this extra info has a fixed
necessary cost (the header tracking what extra info is included) and
everything else can be tail allocated. This pattern works especially
well with a `BumpPtrAllocator` which we use here.

I've also added the basic scaffolding for putting interesting pointers
into this, namely pre- and post-instruction symbols. These aren't used
anywhere yet, they're just there to ensure I've actually gotten the data
structure types correct. I'll flesh out support for these in
a subsequent patch (MIR dumping, parsing, the works).

Finally, I've included an optimization where we store any single pointer
inline in the `MachineInstr` to avoid the allocation overhead. This is
expected to be the overwhelmingly most common case and so should avoid
any memory usage growth due to slightly less clever / dense allocation
when dealing with >1 MMO. This did require several ergonomic
improvements to the `PointerSumType` to reasonably support the various
usage models.

This also has a side effect of freeing up 8 bits within the
`MachineInstr` which could be repurposed for something else.

The suggested direction here came largely from Hal Finkel. I hope it was
worth it. ;] It does hopefully clear a path for subsequent extensions
w/o nearly as much leg work. Lots of thanks to Reid and Justin for
careful reviews and ideas about how to do all of this.
