85edf48b76 [mips] Fix spill slot for mips3, n64 abi
When program is compiled for mips3 with n64 abi, wrong register class
is used for creating an emergency spill slot. This patch fixes the
correct register class to be chosen.

This patch resolves PR35859.

Thanks to John Baldwin for reporting the issue!

652842ec9a [mips] Use register scavenging with MSA.
MSA stores and loads to the stack are more likely to require an
emergency GPR spill slot due to the smaller offsets available
with those instructions.

Handle this by overestimating the size of the stack by determining
the largest offset presuming that all callee save registers are
spilled and accounting of incoming arguments when determining
whether an emergency spill slot is required.

Summary:
This is modeled on the implementation for x86 which stores the command line

The stackAlignment() method in MipsSubTarget is renamed to getStackAlignment()

e3e43d9d57 Sort the remaining #include lines in include/... and lib/....
I did this a long time ago with a janky python script, but now
clang-format has built-in support for this. I fed clang-format every
line with a #include and let it re-sort things according to the precise
LLVM rules for include ordering baked into clang-format these days.

I've reverted a number of files where the results of sorting includes
isn't healthy. Either places where we have legacy code relying on
particular include ordering (where possible, I'll fix these separately)
or where we have particular formatting around #include lines that
I didn't want to disturb in this patch.

This patch is *entirely* mechanical. If you get merge conflicts or
anything, just ignore the changes in this patch and run clang-format
over your #include lines in the files.

Sorry for any noise here, but it is important to keep these things
stable. I was seeing an increasing number of patches with irrelevant
re-ordering of #include lines because clang-format was used. This patch
at least isolates that churn, makes it easy to skip when resolving
conflicts, and gets us to a clean baseline (again).

2f7322b348 [ShrinkWrap] Add (a simplified version) of shrink-wrapping.
This patch introduces a new pass that computes the safe point to insert the
prologue and epilogue of the function.
The interest is to find safe points that are cheaper than the entry and exits
blocks.

As an example and to avoid regressions to be introduce, this patch also
implements the required bits to enable the shrink-wrapping pass for AArch64.

** Context **

Currently we insert the prologue and epilogue of the method/function in the
entry and exits blocks. Although this is correct, we can do a better job when
those are not immediately required and insert them at less frequently executed
places.
The job of the shrink-wrapping pass is to identify such places.

** Motivating example **

Let us consider the following function that perform a call only in one branch of
a if:
define i32 @f(i32 %a, i32 %b)  {
 %tmp = alloca i32, align 4
 %tmp2 = icmp slt i32 %a, %b
 br i1 %tmp2, label %true, label %false

true:
 store i32 %a, i32* %tmp, align 4
 %tmp4 = call i32 @doSomething(i32 0, i32* %tmp)
 br label %false

false:
 %tmp.0 = phi i32 [ %tmp4, %true ], [ %a, %0 ]
 ret i32 %tmp.0
}

On AArch64 this code generates (removing the cfi directives to ease
readabilities):
_f: ; @f
; BB#0:
  stp x29, x30, [sp, #-16]!
  mov x29, sp
  sub sp, sp, #16 ; =16
  cmp w0, w1
  b.ge LBB0_2
; BB#1: ; %true
  stur w0, [x29, #-4]
  sub x1, x29, #4 ; =4
  mov w0, wzr
  bl _doSomething
LBB0_2: ; %false
  mov sp, x29
  ldp x29, x30, [sp], #16
  ret

With shrink-wrapping we could generate:
_f: ; @f
; BB#0:
  cmp w0, w1
  b.ge LBB0_2
; BB#1: ; %true
  stp x29, x30, [sp, #-16]!
  mov x29, sp
  sub sp, sp, #16 ; =16
  stur w0, [x29, #-4]
  sub x1, x29, #4 ; =4
  mov w0, wzr
  bl _doSomething
  add sp, x29, #16 ; =16
  ldp x29, x30, [sp], #16
LBB0_2: ; %false
  ret

Therefore, we would pay the overhead of setting up/destroying the frame only if
we actually do the call.

** Proposed Solution **

This patch introduces a new machine pass that perform the shrink-wrapping
analysis (See the comments at the beginning of ShrinkWrap.cpp for more details).
It then stores the safe save and restore point into the MachineFrameInfo
attached to the MachineFunction.
This information is then used by the PrologEpilogInserter (PEI) to place the
related code at the right place. This pass runs right before the PEI.

Unlike the original paper of Chow from PLDI’88, this implementation of
shrink-wrapping does not use expensive data-flow analysis and does not need hack
to properly avoid frequently executed point. Instead, it relies on dominance and
loop properties.

The pass is off by default and each target can opt-in by setting the
EnableShrinkWrap boolean to true in their derived class of TargetPassConfig.
This setting can also be overwritten on the command line by using
-enable-shrink-wrap.

Before you try out the pass for your target, make sure you properly fix your
emitProlog/emitEpilog/adjustForXXX method to cope with basic blocks that are not
necessarily the entry block.

** Design Decisions **

1. ShrinkWrap is its own pass right now. It could frankly be merged into PEI but
for debugging and clarity I thought it was best to have its own file.
2. Right now, we only support one save point and one restore point. At some
point we can expand this to several save point and restore point, the impacted
component would then be:
- The pass itself: New algorithm needed.
- MachineFrameInfo: Hold a list or set of Save/Restore point instead of one
  pointer.
- PEI: Should loop over the save point and restore point.
Anyhow, at least for this first iteration, I do not believe this is interesting
to support the complex cases. We should revisit that when we motivating
examples.

3fabd02ea5 [mips] Implement eliminateCallFramePseudoInstr() in MipsFrameLowering. NFC.
Summary:
Avoid duplicate code in Mips16FrameLowering and MipsSEFrameLowering by
providing an implementation of the eliminateCallFramePseudoInstr()
function from their base class.

91a9b15130 [mips] Expose adjustStackPtr() from MipsInstrInfo. NFC.
Summary:
adjustStackPtr() is implemented from both MipsSEInstrInfo and
Mips16InstrInfo. It makes sense to expose this function from
MipsInstrInfo and avoid explicit casting in some cases.

Depends on D8638.

2d64c553b4 Remove most of the TargetMachine::getSubtarget/getSubtargetImpl
calls that don't take a Function argument from Mips. Notable
exceptions: the AsmPrinter and MipsTargetObjectFile. The
latter needs to be fixed, and the former will be fixed when the
general AsmPrinter changes happen.

3b72ec5083 [mips] Account for endianess when expanding BuildPairF64/ExtractElementF64 nodes.
Summary:
In order to support big endian targets for the BuildPairF64 nodes we
just need to swap the low/high pair registers. Additionally, for the
ExtractElementF64 nodes we have to calculate the correct stack offset
with respect to the node's register/operand that we want to extract.

6035518e3b Have MachineFunction cache a pointer to the subtarget to make lookups
shorter/easier and have the DAG use that to do the same lookup. This
can be used in the future for TargetMachine based caching lookups from
the MachineFunction easily.

Update the MIPS subtarget switching machinery to update this pointer
at the same time it runs.

c4ce78e261 [mips] For the FP64A ABI, odd-numbered double-precision moves must not use mtc1/mfc1.
Summary:
This is because the FP64A the hardware will redirect 32-bit reads/writes
from/to odd-numbered registers to the upper 32-bits of the corresponding
even register. In effect, simulating FR=0 mode when FR=0 mode is not
available.

Unfortunately, we have to make the decision to avoid mfc1/mtc1 before
register allocation so we currently do this for even registers too.

FPXX has a similar requirement on 32-bit architectures that lack
mfhc1/mthc1 so this patch also handles the affected moves from the FPU for
FPXX too. Moves to the FPU were supported by an earlier commit.

fce699d88a [mips] Expand BuildPairF64 to a spill and reload when the O32 FPXX ABI is
enabled and mthc1 and dmtc1 are not available (e.g. on MIPS32r1)

This prevents the upper 32-bits of a double precision value from being moved to
the FPU with mtc1 to an odd-numbered FPU register. This is necessary to ensure
that the code generated executes correctly regardless of the current FPU mode.

MIPS32r2 and above continues to use mtc1/mthc1, while MIPS-IV and above continue
to use dmtc1.

7d7d99622f Replace PROLOG_LABEL with a new CFI_INSTRUCTION.
The old system was fairly convoluted:
* A temporary label was created.
* A single PROLOG_LABEL was created with it.
* A few MCCFIInstructions were created with the same label.

The semantics were that the cfi instructions were mapped to the PROLOG_LABEL
via the temporary label. The output position was that of the PROLOG_LABEL.
The temporary label itself was used only for doing the mapping.

The new CFI_INSTRUCTION has a 1:1 mapping to MCCFIInstructions and points to
one by holding an index into the CFI instructions of this function.

I did consider removing MMI.getFrameInstructions completelly and having
CFI_INSTRUCTION own a MCCFIInstruction, but MCCFIInstructions have non
trivial constructors and destructors and are somewhat big, so the this setup
is probably better.

The net result is that we don't create temporary labels that are never used.

243702b95a [mips] Fix definition of mfhi and mflo instructions to read from the whole
accumulator instead of its sub-registers, $hi and $lo.

We need this change to prevent a mflo following a mtlo from reading an
unpredictable/undefined value, as shown in the following example:

mult $6, $7 // result of $6 * $7 is written to $lo and $hi.
mflo $2 // read lower 32-bit result from $lo.
mtlo $4 // write to $lo. the content of $hi becomes unpredictable.
mfhi $3 // read higher 32-bit from $hi, which has an unpredictable value.

I don't have a test case for this change that reliably reproduces the problem.
