PeepholeOptimizer: Fix for vregs without defs
The PeepholeOptimizer would fail for vregs without a definition. If this
was caused by an undef operand abort to keep the code simple (so we
don't need to add logic everywhere to replicate the undef flag).

[ARM] Fix "Constant pool entry out of range!" in Thumb1 mode
This patch fixes PR36658, "Constant pool entry out of range!" in Thumb1 mode.
In ARMConstantIslands::optimizeThumb2JumpTables() in Thumb1 mode,
adjustBBOffsetsAfter() is not calculating postOffset correctly by
properly accounting for the padding that is required for the constant pool
that immediately follows the jump table branch instruction.

[ARM] Allow the scheduler to clone a node with glue to avoid a copy CPSR ↔ GPR.
In Thumb 1, with the new ADDCARRY / SUBCARRY the scheduler may need to do
copies CPSR ↔ GPR but not all Thumb1 targets implement them.
The schedule can attempt, before attempting a copy, to clone the instructions
but it does not currently do that for nodes with input glue. In this patch we
introduce a target-hook to let the hook decide if a glued machinenode is still
eligible for copying. In this case these are ARM::tADCS and ARM::tSBCS .
As a follow-up of this change we should actually implement the copies for the
Thumb1 targets that do implement them and restrict the hook to the targets that
can't really do such copy as these clones are not ideal.
This change fixes PR35836.

After D41349, we can now directly access MCSubtargetInfo from
createARM*AsmBackend. This patch makes use of this, avoiding the need to
create a fresh MCSubtargetInfo (which was previously always done with a blank
CPU and feature string). Given the total size of the change remains pretty
tiny and we're removing the old explicit destructor, I changed the STI field
to a reference rather than a pointer.

Currently it's not possible to access MCSubtargetInfo from a TgtMCAsmBackend.
D20830 threaded an MCSubtargetInfo reference through
MCAsmBackend::relaxInstruction, but this isn't the only function that would
benefit from access. This patch removes the Triple and CPUString arguments
from createMCAsmBackend and replaces them with MCSubtargetInfo.
This patch just changes the interface without making any intentional
functional changes. Once in, several cleanups are possible:
* Get rid of the awkward MCSubtargetInfo handling in ARMAsmBackend
* Support 16-bit instructions when valid in MipsAsmBackend::writeNopData
* Get rid of the CPU string parsing in X86AsmBackend and just use a SubtargetFeature for HasNopl
* Emit 16-bit nops in RISCVAsmBackend::writeNopData if the compressed instruction set extension is enabled (see D41221)
This change initially exposed PR35686, which has since been resolved in r321026.

Re-land r321234. It had to be reverted because it broke the shared
library build. The shared library build broke because there was a
missing LLVMBuild dependency from lib/Passes (which calls
TargetMachine::getTargetIRAnalysis) to lib/Target. As far as I can
tell, this problem was always there but was somehow masked
before (perhaps because TargetMachine::getTargetIRAnalysis was a
virtual function).

Pointer constants are pretty rare, since we usually represent them as
integer constants and then cast to pointer. One notable exception is the
null pointer constant, which is represented directly as a G_CONSTANT 0
with pointer type. Mark it as legal and make sure it is selected like
any other integer constant.

The penalty is currently getting applied in a bunch of places where it
doesn't make sense, like bitcasts (which are free) and calls (which
were getting the call penalty applied twice). Instead, just apply the
penalty to binary operators and floating-point casts.
While I'm here, also fix getFPOpCost() to do the right thing in more
cases, so we don't have to dig into function attributes.

We get an assertion in RegBankSelect for code along the lines of
my_32_bit_int = my_64_bit_int, which tends to translate into a 64-bit
load, followed by a G_TRUNC, followed by a 32-bit store. This appears in
a couple of places in the test-suite.
At the moment, the legalizer doesn't distinguish between integer and
floating point scalars, so a 64-bit load will be marked as legal for
targets with VFP, and so will the rest of the sequence, leading to a
slightly bizarre G_TRUNC reaching RegBankSelect.
Since the current support for 64-bit integers is rather immature, this
patch works around the issue by explicitly handling this case in
RegBankSelect and InstructionSelect. In the future, we may want to
revisit this decision and make sure 64-bit integer loads are narrowed
before reaching RegBankSelect.

r319524 has made more G_MERGE_VALUES/G_UNMERGE_VALUES pairs legal than
are supported by the rest of the pipeline. Restrict that to only the
cases that we can currently handle: packing 32-bit values into 64-bit
ones, when we have hardware FP.

Rather than adding more bits to express every
MMO flag you could want, just directly use the
MMO flags. Also fixes using a bunch of bool arguments to
getMemIntrinsicNode.
On AMDGPU, buffer and image intrinsics should always
have MODereferencable set, but currently there is no
way to do that directly during the initial intrinsic
lowering.

Work towards the unification of MIR and debug output by printing
`@foo` instead of `<ga:@foo>`.
Also print target flags in the MIR format since most of them are used on
global address operands.
Only debug syntax is affected.

Add isRenamable() predicate to MachineOperand. This predicate can be
used by machine passes after register allocation to determine whether it
is safe to rename a given register operand. Register operands that
aren't marked as renamable may be required to be assigned their current
register to satisfy constraints that are not captured by the machine

This is a preparatory step for D34515.
This change:
- makes nodes ISD::ADDCARRY and ISD::SUBCARRY legal for i32
- lowering is done by first converting the boolean value into the carry flag
using (_, C) ← (ARMISD::ADDC R, -1) and converted back to an integer value
using (R, _) ← (ARMISD::ADDE 0, 0, C). An ARMISD::ADDE between the two
operations does the actual addition.
- for subtraction, given that ISD::SUBCARRY second result is actually a
borrow, we need to invert the value of the second operand and result before
and after using ARMISD::SUBE. We need to invert the carry result of
ARMISD::SUBE to preserve the semantics.
- given that the generic combiner may lower ISD::ADDCARRY and
ISD::SUBCARRYinto ISD::UADDO and ISD::USUBO we need to update their lowering
as well otherwise i64 operations now would require branches. This implies
updating the corresponding test for unsigned.
- add new combiner to remove the redundant conversions from/to carry flags
to/from boolean values (ARMISD::ADDC (ARMISD::ADDE 0, 0, C), -1) → C

This patch splits atomics out of the generic G_LOAD/G_STORE and into their own
G_ATOMIC_LOAD/G_ATOMIC_STORE. This is a pragmatic decision rather than a
necessary one. Atomic load/store has little in implementation in common with
non-atomic load/store. They tend to be handled very differently throughout the
backend. It also has the nice side-effect of slightly improving the common-case
performance at ISel since there's no longer a need for an atomicity check in the
matcher table.
All targets have been updated to remove the atomic load/store check from the
G_LOAD/G_STORE path. AArch64 has also been updated to mark
G_ATOMIC_LOAD/G_ATOMIC_STORE legal.
There is one issue with this patch though which also affects the extending loads
and truncating stores. The rules only match when an appropriate G_ANYEXT is
present in the MIR. For example,
(G_ATOMIC_STORE (G_TRUNC:s16 (G_ANYEXT:s32 (G_ATOMIC_LOAD:s16 X))))
will match but:
(G_ATOMIC_STORE (G_ATOMIC_LOAD:s16 X))
will not. This shouldn't be a problem at the moment, but as we get better at
eliminating extends/truncates we'll likely start failing to match in some
cases. The current plan is to fix this in a patch that changes the
representation of extending-load/truncating-store to allow the MMO to describe
a different type to the operation.

The compiler fails with the following error message:
fatal error: error in backend: ran out of registers during
register allocation
Tail call optimization for Armv8-M.base fails to meet all the required
constraints when handling calls to function pointers where the
arguments take up r0-r3. This is because the pointer to the
function to be called can only be stored in r0-r3, but these are
all occupied by arguments. This patch makes sure that tail call
optimization does not try to handle this type of calls.

This adds a "invalid operands for instruction" diagnostic for
instructions where there is an instruction encoding with the correct
mnemonic and which is available for this target, but where multiple
operands do not match those which were provided. This makes it clear
that there is some combination of operands that is valid for the current
target, which the default diagnostic of "invalid instruction" does not.
Since this is a very general error, we only emit it if we don't have a
more specific error.

Summary: LegalizerInfo assumes all G_MERGE_VALUES and G_UNMERGE_VALUES instructions are legal, so it is not possible to legalize vector operations on illegal vector types. This patch fixes the problem by removing the related check and adding default actions for G_MERGE_VALUES and G_UNMERGE_VALUES.

When lowering a G_BRCOND, we generate a TSTri of the condition against
1, which sets the flags, and then a Bcc which branches based on the
value of the flags.
Unfortunately, we were using the wrong condition code to check whether
we need to branch (EQ instead of NE), which caused all our branches to
do the opposite of what they were intended to do. This patch fixes the
issue by using the correct condition code.

The commit https://reviews.llvm.org/rL318143 computes incorrectly to offset to
restore LR from.
The number of tPOP operands is 2 (condition) + 2 (implicit def and use of SP) +
count of the popped registers. We need to load LR from just past the last
register, hence the correct offset should be either getNumOperands() - 4 and
getNumExplicitOperands() - 2 (multiplied by 4).
