skyscraper: enhance options
Prompt user to clear/keep platform selection after gamelist creation
Add menuoption to bypass all flags applied by this scriptmodule (or its config) to Skyscraper
Fix default selection by entering/leaving submenus
The return codes between the scriptmodule and Skyscraper were still not matching. Now they are: 0 Skyscraper success, 1+2 Skyscraper error, 3 user ctrl-c (module and Skyscraper), 4 scraping did not start (module only return value)
- add option to ignore/use flags applied to Skyscraeper from within this module and
- hide flags controlling menuitems and their helptexts when option is set to ignore flags
- remember platform selection after gathering and reset platform selection after generatiing gamelist(s)
- add option to edit local platform extensions (peas_local.json) and web API platform id (platforms_idmap_local.csv) files
- adjust return codes: 0 Skyscraper success, 1+2 Skyscraper error, 3 user ctrl-c (module and Skyscraper), 4 scraping did not start (module only return value)
- fixed default selection when re-entering submenu
- display matching help when an item without helptext is selected
- update help texts and adjustment of dialog sizes
- provide brief helptexts where applicable instead of longer ones
- refactored boolean operators in if-statements
- added missing help texts for scraping modules: IGDB and MobyGames
Re-apply (locally) the patch that fixes the (internal) MAME menu to crash when configuring input. Upstream reverted the patch submitted a few ears back, so let's just keep it here until it's fixed.
- display matching dialog when Skyscraper was interrupted with Ctrl+C (from Skyscraper 3.21 onwards)
- remember platform selection between gathering data and generating game list
- less clutter in platform selection dialog and menuitem separation
- remeditate various shellcheck issues
- some wording updates
Do also rely on configured systems in EmulationStation config in addition
to the platform discovery in `~/RetroPie/roms/` to have a strict set of
available platforms.
Upstream started incorporating the latest Hatari version into the core and renamed the previouos core version to `hatari2014`.
Until the merge is complete and stable, use the old version, now in a separate branch.
Modified the build to:
- use the CAPSIMG variables that are now part of the upstream `makefile`, instead of using our own (C|LD)FLAGS
- remove our patch since upstream added similar changes to the source to solve the type conflict that caused build issues and the makefile changes are no longer needed
- make the core name configurable by modifying the `makefile`'s _TARGET_NAME_ variable, so it can be changes at build time.
- use `-rpath` linker option to have the core `.so` library search for the `campsimg` library in the install folder (similar to how the standalone emulator build recipe does). This alows us to get rid of the `configure` modifications to `emulators.cfg` for setting `LD_LIBRARY_PATH`

Add patches to resolve implicit function declaration errors under GCC 14:
- 02_gcc14_unistd_fix.diff: include <unistd.h> in core/deps/libzip/zip_close.c for POSIX platforms (fixes close() implicit declaration)
- 03_gcc14_glsm_fix.diff: use rgl* wrappers in core/libretro-common/glsm/glsm.c (fixes glGenVertexArrays and glBindVertexArray implicit declarations)
`fcitx-libs-dev` is for Fcitx 4. On Debian 12, Debian 13, and Ubuntu 24.04+, the default input method is `fcitx5`.
In Debian package rules, `fcitx-libs-dev` conflicts with `fcitx5`. When installing SDL2 dependencies on Debian 12+, APT will remove `fcitx5`. Also, official Debian 12+ packages for SDL2 no longer use `fcitx-libs-dev`.
Some of the images ran out of space when doing the rsync since the du --apparent-size
addition in 5bf9b952. Increase to 512MiB which seems to be enough to account for
ext4 filesystem metadata.
Upstream project consolidated the installation instructions into a single filel, so the installation fails due to the missing removed `install.txt`.
Modified the `install`-ed files to change depending on the commit used.
When creating images on a build host with a compressed filesystem (e.g. ZFS + compression),
du would report smaller file sizes causing the root partition to be undersized and failing.
Use --apparent-size to get the actual file sizes and increase the amount added to 384MiB to
account for filesystem metadata.
New games:
* Nancy Drew: The Haunted Carousel.
* Nancy Drew: Danger on Deception Island.
* Noctropolis.
* Cartoon Carnival.
* Alfred Pelrock: En Busca de un Sueño.
* Pilot Brothers: On the Track of Striped Elephant, Pilot Brothers: The Case of Serial Maniac, and five minor games built on the Gamos engine.
* LastExpress (since 2026.1.0, but was not listed in release notes)
Added simple conditional statement to add ParaLLEl RDP / RSP on x86.
The modification enables the ParaLLEl RDP and RSP plugins in the lr-mupen64plus-next libretro core when built on the x86 platform. This provides low-level, cycle accurate N64 emulation but also requires a strong CPU and Vulkan-enabled GPU.
Upstream libretro project has deleted the `docs` folder we included as part of the installation, so amend the install script to exclude the folder from the install step.
... otherwise the update/install will pass an empty string to `git ls-remote` and the operation fails, leading to:
- `git ls-remote` failing in the background (with an additional 'are you connected to the internet' message added).
- the update dialog showing 'no install options available' and leaving only the removal or the package as an option.
On Ubuntu 24.04, due to a bug on how the `zstd` static library was built, the GlideN64 build fails when linking with a messages similar to the one reported in [1]. Modify the `cmake` build file to link `zstd` dynamically, so the build doesn't fail.
The link error is not present on Debian (13-Trixie) or later Ubuntus (25.10), so add this workaround just for the 24.04 LTS version.

Both `p7zip` and `p7zip-full` are replaced by `7zip` in recent (Trixie) Debian and Ubuntu (26.04).
Map the packages in our helper since they're used in more than one place.
Notable changes in 1.11:
* S19 records supported, recognised by the .s19 file extension.
* 74LS785 SAM support, and new `-machine-opt sam=type` option.
* Initial iMMUnity support has been contributed by Jim Brain. Specify `-machine-opt immunity` for a Dragon or CoCo 1/2 to use.
* New option `-trap-trace-n n` turns on trace mode for specified number of instructions when a trap is matched.
After `zstd` support has been added, the CMake build for GLideN64 fails due to not finding the necessary library.
Added the new dependency to install the necessary headers/libraries and fixed the CMake detection by lowercasing the library names.
