Arnaud Ritti 4a78310f76 feat(plugins): support detail panes for tree and list views (#2033)
Closes #1950

Plugins can declare `detail = true` on a tree or list view (any tool-window side, grouped or not) to show the selected item's detail-provider tabs beside the list. The pane follows selection and refresh, clears stale content when the item, project or remote host changes, shows an empty state when nothing is selected, and remembers its resizable divider. Services keeps its single split. Released WIT and IPC shapes are unchanged. Verified on macOS in light and dark themes.

Arnaud Ritti 0bee9b7aab feat(plugins): allow custom gutter marker icons (#2044)
Closes #1951

Gutter markers only recognised a short alias list and the runtime truncated icon references at 32 bytes, so ordinary icon names and package paths were dropped. Markers now accept any built-in icon name, and API 1.3 `contributes.markerIcons` declares package SVGs (with an optional dark variant) that are size-limited, sanitised and rendered through the icon registry. The shared SVG sanitiser now also rejects URL strings in any CSS function (e.g. image-set), not only url(). Verified on macOS in light and dark themes.

Arnaud Ritti f6531542de feat(plugins): add fixed filenames and file template variables (#2032)
Closes #1954

Plugin file templates could only take a typed name plus a fixed extension, so dot-files such as .dockerignore and templates needing more than a name weren't expressible. Templates (API ^1.3) can now declare a fixed `fileName` and named `variables` that the New File dialog asks for, and plugin templates get the same Java/Kotlin/Go/PHP package inference as built-in ones. Unsafe filenames and existing files are refused. The dialog no longer submits on Enter while an IME is composing, and its variable form has proper padding. Adds a file-templates test fixture.

Arnaud Ritti 9e6cb7b93e feat(plugins): allow prompts while resolving code actions (#2025)
Closes #1945

Resolving a lazy code action or file action dropped the invoking window, so a plugin couldn't ask the user anything (input, pick, confirm) while building its edit. Resolution now runs with that window, so prompts work during resolution; previews and Actions on Save never prompt, cancellation keeps the text unchanged, and stale edits are rejected. WIT and SDK docs describe the new behaviour; the released API surface is unchanged.

Arnaud Ritti da3d996e10 feat(plugins): group views and apply visibility conditions (#2019)
Closes #1949. Plugin API 1.3: views from several plugins can share one tool window (shown as tabs) and a view can declare a visibility condition (e.g. only when the project contains a file, or for the active file) so it appears only when it applies. Additive within API 1.x, with a fixture plugin, regression tests and docs.

l0ng-ai a40a909db5 feat(search): edit files in the Find in Files preview (#2031)
Closes #2004. The Find in Files preview was a read-only standalone view with its own copy of the file. It now attaches to the shared document the editor tabs use (editor/api attachDocument with shared history): edits show up in open tabs and mark them modified, undo/redo go through the text tab's history, Save works, and match highlights follow the edits. Library sources, archives, large/binary files stay read-only; Enter in the preview inserts a newline instead of opening the result.

Shohruh Ismoilovandshohruh-genius a232850b88 fix(run): rerun exact Go tests in each package (#1978)
Go test reruns now keep full subtest paths (each segment anchored) and run each package with its own selection; tests and benchmarks use their own filters (-run / -bench with -run '^$'), and stale tool or test-binary filters can no longer override reruns or gutter launches. File configurations keep their file target and original run configuration. Boolean test flag aliases are parsed before package targets.

Arnaud Ritti 668206ddfd feat(plugins): share project HTTP endpoints with the HTTP client (#1991)
Adds the API 1.3 `endpoints-provider` export and `[[contributes.endpoints]]` (file globs, ^1.3, `project.read`). A plugin's routes join the Spring ones in Search Everywhere, `.http` URL completion and the declaration's Open in HTTP Client gutter action. The UI asks `plugin_endpoints` on demand; the host runs the plugin on a blocking thread, validates the whole list (bounds, project-relative locations, UTF-16 ranges) and caches it per project until a file matching the globs changes, then emits `EndpointsChanged`. A failed or invalid run keeps the last list; disabling, crashing or closing the project withdraws it, and late results can't restore it. Closes #1960.

Arnaud Ritti 112ed773fb feat(plugins): notifications with command buttons (#1974)
Adds API 1.3 `ui.notify(level, title, body, actions) -> result<_, error>`: up to three buttons, each running one of the plugin's declared commands with an optional argument in the balloon's window and dismissing the balloon. An invalid action or an undeclared command fails the call and shows nothing. The plugin `Notification` event carries the actions; SDK `host::notify_with_actions` and `NotificationAction`. Closes #1955.

l0ng-ai 1cab24fea1 perf: keep typing, scrolling and list navigation within a frame (#1902)
* perf(project-tree): measure row widths once per frame

The horizontal scroll range was measured in a layout effect on every render:
each pass forced layout, its setState re-rendered synchronously and measured
again, and the ResizeObserver was recreated each time, firing once more.
Expanding a 10k-entry folder went from ~26 ms to ~63 ms.

Keep one observer per tree and coalesce renders and resizes into a single
measurement on the next animation frame. Expanding is back to ~30 ms and
arrow-key p50 drops from 3.3 ms to 1.7 ms; the widths behave as before.

* perf(github): load the pull requests integration after start-up

Actions, the tool window and the timeline editor stay registered at start-up;
their implementations, the connection and review-mode tracking load on idle
or on first use. Takes ~60 KB gzip off the initial bundle.

* perf(templates): load Emmet when an HTML or stylesheet editor opens

The Emmet engine (~70 KB minified) was part of the initial bundle; it now loads
with the first editor that can expand abbreviations, or with Update Tag with Emmet.

* perf(search, run): load popups and Edit Configurations when first shown

Search Everywhere, Find in Files, the recent files/locations popups, File
Structure and the Run/Debug Configurations dialog were part of the initial
bundle although each only renders while open. `lazyWhen` mounts a lazy view
only while its condition holds; the idle prefetch still loads them right after
start-up, so opening one stays as fast.

* perf: load dialogs, the SQL console and diff views on first use

- Database dialogs, Assign Shortcut and the Logcat tool window load when shown.
- The SQL console extensions load with the first SQL editor
(`lazyEditorExtension` reconfigures the editor once they arrive).
- The changes tree loads the diff viewer when a file is selected, and
"Open Repository Log" loads the revision browser when run.

* perf: load plugin, debugger and project popups when first shown

The IntelliJ theme import, the debugger's popovers and dialogs and the title
bar's project popup now load when first opened. `lazyWhen` keeps a view
mounted once shown, so its own open/closed handling is unchanged.

* perf(angular): parse only text with Angular syntax as Angular

Every text node of a template got its own nested Angular parse, including
the whitespace between tags, which is most of them. Text without a `{`, `}`
or `@` holds no interpolation or block, so it stays HTML text. A full parse
of a 12k-line template takes about a fifth less work.

* perf(angular): reuse nested trees of unchanged text and attributes

An edit makes the mixed parser recreate many text and attribute nodes it
does not keep: the document's own text and the nodes up to the viewport. It
reuses nested trees only of nodes it kept, so each of those was parsed again
as Angular on every keystroke (~170 nested parses per key in a 12k-line
template). Their parse depends only on their text, so the trees are now
remembered by text, up to about 2M characters.

Typing in the middle of a 12k-line template: main thread per key 57 -> 22 ms,
p50 latency 30 -> 19.5 ms, no long tasks.

* perf: budget typing in a large Angular template

* perf: measure code completion over a 2,000-item list

The harness's probe can answer completion with generated items through the
command route; language server requests go through a route when one is
installed, not only under Tauri. The scenario opens the popup by typing,
narrows it letter by letter and moves the selection, with budgets for each.

* perf(run): show a flood of console output at most every 50 ms

While a process printed thousands of lines a second, the Run console
appended, re-rendered and laid out on every frame, so typing in an editor
meanwhile missed the next frame 35% of the time. A line after a quiet spell
still shows on the next frame; a flood now updates the console at ~20 Hz,
and typing during it misses 2-5% (p50 16 -> 9.7 ms) with the output done as
fast as before.

The performance harness gets a scenario for it: 50,000 log lines at 200 a
frame (a dev and perf build action, run.sampleOutput) while typing.

* perf(vcs): keep Git Log rows from re-rendering on every selection change

Commit rows were memoized but received a new Set and new closures on every
render, so moving the selection re-rendered every visible row, and each row
built a new Intl.DateTimeFormat for its date. Rows now get stable handlers and
shared remote-name sets, and date formatting reuses cached formatters.

* perf: measure the Git Log and splitter dragging

gitLog shows 20k generated commits served page by page through a fake vcs_log,
walks the selection with the arrow keys and wheel-scrolls the list.
resizePanels drags the side and bottom splitters with an editor, the Project
tree and the Log open. The perf probe's fake backends can now be combined.

* perf: translate the sample output action and keep fake completion details out of the text catalog

* fix(run): keep flushing console output when the window hides mid-wait

* test(e2e): ignore the TODO index's scan when checking the Find in Files query

l0ng-ai b99fe1704b fix(vcs): keep Git Log rows painted while dragging the scrollbar (#1914)
Dragging the Git Log scrollbar through a long history stuttered and showed
blank rows: the native scrollbar scrolls asynchronously in WebKit, so the
virtual list rendered rows a frame or more after the new offset was painted.

The list now uses a scrollbar drawn in the DOM (`Scrollbar` in `src/ui`) that
sets the offset from pointer events and notifies scroll listeners at once, so
the virtualizer renders the matching rows before the next paint. Rows are
keyed by slot so a large jump updates the mounted rows instead of rebuilding
them, overscan is lowered, and rows rendered mid-scroll draw their graph
without edge hit targets, which come back once scrolling stops.

Adds a `gitLogScrollbar` perf scenario with budgets.

Jaw 352efc02a7 feat(angular): highlight inline templates and auto-close tags (#1897)
Angular component templates in @Component({ template }) were parsed as TypeScript strings, so template highlighting and tag closing never applied. TypeScript files in Angular projects (angular.json or @angular/core) now use an Angular TypeScript mode that mounts the Angular template parser on literal template strings; other strings and non-Angular projects are unchanged. Inline and external templates both close tags on /, with multiple cursors and undo.

Shohruh Ismoilovandshohruh-genius 7e7da950fc fix(vcs): show branch actions in the Git Log commit menu (#1852)
Right-clicking a commit with branch labels offered commit actions only. The menu now has a Branch 'name' submenu with the existing branch actions for each branch at that commit other than the current one, grouped under Branches when there are more than two, and keeps Rebase onto Selected Commit for commits without branches. The actions run against the commit's repository in a multi-repository project.

Shohruh Ismoilovandshohruh-genius 9298be8798 fix(vcs): allow explicitly overwriting a local branch (#1851)
The New Branch dialog refused any existing local name, so a branch could not be moved to a selected commit. When the name matches a local branch of the target repository, the dialog now offers an unchecked Overwrite existing branch option (git switch -C / git branch --force); the consent clears when the name changes, and Git's checkout checks keep the old tip and local changes if switching fails. New Branch from a Git Log commit also targets that commit's repository in a multi-repository project.

qiaojianlong c4b87ae09e perf(java): prewarm configuration navigation and share results between hover and click (#947)
Configuration navigation from YAML/properties still waited for a cold index the first
time and repeated the lookup between the ⌘-hover probe and the click.

- Trusted projects with a Maven/Gradle/Eclipse build file start Java shortly after
opening. Once JDT reports ServiceReady, the app calls the new
  openidea.java.configuration.warmup command: a low-priority background job builds
the configuration index one project at a time (open YAML/properties modules first),
waits for workspace builds, has a 30 s budget per project, and only fills free cache
  room.
- Index builds take a cancellable per-project lock instead of one global lock, so a
background build never delays another project, and a warmed snapshot is dropped
if the Java model changed meanwhile.
- In YAML/properties the editor underlines the whole key (hyphens and dots
included), hover and Go to Definition share one bounded request per key, and the
declaration chooser names the whole key.

Bundle java-usages 1.6.0 is rebuilt reproducibly with build.py against JDT LS
1.63.0-202610191322 (SHA-256 33cfa1bb…). The real-JDT harness checks that the first
lookup reuses the warmed index.

Budi Santosoandboenkkk 9069c322e8 feat(database): Oracle data source support (#1510)
Adds Oracle as a data source through rust-oracle (ODPI-C), which loads the user's
Oracle Instant Client at runtime; the client is not bundled. The Options tab takes
the Instant Client directory (empty: ORACLE_HOME or the system library path).
Covers connecting, the schema tree, consoles with PL/SQL blocks, table editing,
Generate DDL (DBMS_METADATA), Explain Plan (PLAN_TABLE), Oracle-specific SQL
generation and completion, and jdbc:oracle:thin URLs.

Review fixes: PL/SQL units keep their closing END; (the server rejects a block
without it), a subprogram's declarations no longer split it, and packages end at
a / line; LOB cells are read through locators (they showed as null and broke
Generate DDL); ORA-01005 prompts for a password; the Instant Client directory is
optional in the dialog.

875e049dcd fix(editor): align Python identifier colors and unused-parameter styling (#1572)
Python defaults diverged in several places: built-ins used the predefined magenta, __init__/__doc__ used function/self colours, instance fields the property colour, f-strings and byte strings the generic string colour, and the PEP 695 type keyword was uncoloured. Python now has its own tokens for built-ins, predefined definitions/usages, f-strings and byte strings; instance fields follow identifiers; type is a keyword. Unused parameters (not reported by Pyrefly) are greyed by a scope-aware local check that skips self/cls/_ names and signatures dictated elsewhere: stubs, @abstractmethod/@overload/@override, dunder methods and methods of classes with bases.

JawandClaude Opus 5.5 d1acf9f9ac feat(vcs): replace spaces typed in a branch name with a separator (#1571)
Ref-name inputs only validated after the fact, so a space typed or pasted into a branch name showed "Branch name contains invalid characters" and disabled Create. Branch-name fields (New Branch, from a revision and in several repositories, Rename Branch, New Worktree, GitHub New Remote Branch) now clean the name while typing: forbidden characters are dropped and whitespace becomes '-', without stacking separators, keeping the caret in place. Shared via src/platform/gitRefName.ts and the useSanitizedField hook in src/ui.

Muuandmuutot d4a5b54720 feat(editor): add PyCharm-style Python semantic highlighting (#1523)
Python files got semantic colours only once the language server answered, and locals, globals, instance and class attributes, constants, properties and type parameters all looked the same. A highlighter on the Lezer syntax tree now colours them right away in PyCharm's finer categories (also self, builtins, decorators, definitions, method calls, brackets); LSP semantic tokens stay authoritative when they arrive. The categories are new --syn-python-* theme tokens wired through the built-in themes and Harbor Night, and PyCharm .icls schemes import their PY.* attributes.

Lee Dong Geon 456b329d73 feat(themes): preview themes from the gear menu and Settings, and import theme plugins from every JetBrains IDE (#1498)
The main toolbar gear's Theme submenu and Settings › Appearance › Theme preview the theme under the pointer after the same delay as Quick Switch Scheme, and closing without a choice brings the selected theme back. Choosing a theme while it was previewed left the preview flag on, so the start-up theme cache kept the previous theme; `setTheme` now ends the preview.

Import Theme from JetBrains IDE… lists one row per theme plugin and installs it without switching the theme, like any theme plugin install. It reads only the newest settings folder of each product, so folders left behind by upgrades don't list their plugins again.

Mariano Dupontandmarianomd 8dedf5e73b fix(themes): preserve language-specific ICLS styles (#1457)
Importing a PhpStorm .icls applied Java/Kotlin keys and PHP-only colours to every language, so PHP variables, strings and punctuation came out wrong. Java, Kotlin and PHP attributes are now kept per language (Color Scheme lists them under their own nodes, and editors scope them by data-language), explicit attribute inheritance is resolved, an explicit TextAttributes value resets omitted bold/italic, the light/dark parent follows the scheme's background, and PHP classes, method declarations, fields, brackets and separators get their own tags. Selecting a language attribute in Settings previews that language's colours.

黄贵波 a083571537 fix(editor): let the overview lane own the editor's vertical scrollbar (#1449)
The overview lane sat over the scrollbar with pointer-events: none and is 12px wide, the native scrollbar 10px: a press on the lane's edge, or where marks covered the thumb, reached the text layer and dragged a text selection instead of scrolling. The lane now owns the vertical scrollbar, as IntelliJ's error stripe does: the native one is hidden, the lane's thumb drags (with the same geometry it is drawn with), and a press above or below the thumb pages the editor. Marks still jump to their line.

yoo hyeong chan 0dfdbbc323 feat(gradle): link and unlink independent Gradle builds (#1413)
Opening a folder of independent Gradle builds selected only the first build. Link Gradle Projects… (pick a build's settings or build file) and Unlink on a build's root let an ordinary project window manage several independent builds without changing their scripts. The build model holds a list of Gradle builds; each keeps its own wrapper, working directory, environment, task routing and sync cache, keyed by the owning build directory. The links persist in the project's Gradle settings (linkedProjects); unlinking leaves files and saved run configurations alone. Existing includeBuild support is unchanged, and an explicitly linked build takes precedence over a composite that also includes it. Workspace windows keep Link/Unlink disabled.

Jaw b31edc3482 fix(editor): give each file its own find bar, query and caret (#1296)
The find bar belonged to the pane and every bar shared one query, and its effect re-ran the search and moved the caret whenever the active tab changed, so switching files dragged the previous file's search into the next one and lost its caret. Each tab now has its own find bar with its own query and options, as with IDEA's per-editor search session. The last search only pre-fills a newly opened bar (or the selection does) and drives Find Next without a bar; showing a bar again only highlights, and the caret moves only when the query or an option changes in that bar. Bars of closed tabs are dropped.

A dialog picks the destination and the members (Make abstract / Keep abstract); problems are confirmed before anything changes; the edit is applied as one change or previewed first.

JDT LS offers neither as a code action, so the app-owned JDT LS bundle (plugins/java-usages 1.3.0) adds two delegate commands that run JDT's PullUpRefactoringProcessor / PushDownRefactoringProcessor and return the problems and the edit without applying it, exposed as lsp_hierarchy_members / lsp_hierarchy_refactor (also over the remote host dispatcher). The bundled jar was rebuilt from source with JDT LS 1.63.0 and matches the recorded SHA-256.

Mariano Dupontandmarianomd b31938db00 feat(deployment): add standalone comparison and selected-file sync (#1070)
Sync with Deployed opens in its own window, one per project window. It lists local files next to the server's copies, with filters, content and binary comparison, and an embedded side-by-side diff whose local side can be edited. The selected file can be synchronized (Enter) without closing the window.

The window is the `deployment` kind of the auxiliary windows that Settings and comparisons use. A cancelled close in it stops its project window from closing. The preview uses the vcs diff viewer through its `diff` editor kind. Also covers #811 (compare with the deployed versions).

kkmihaiandkkMihai e04e5dd57d feat(database): add ClickHouse data sources (#865)
Adds ClickHouse to Data Sources over its HTTP interface (HTTP/HTTPS, SSH tunnels, session settings, server-side cancellation): browse databases, tables and columns, inspect DDL, run queries and EXPLAIN plans, with ClickHouse dialect completion. Table data stays read-only and manual transactions are rejected, since ClickHouse keys are not unique and HTTP has no transactions.

Results are streamed as JSONCompactEachRowWithNamesAndTypes and parsing stops at the row limit, because result_overflow_mode=break still returns a whole block; errors show only the server's "Code: …" message, including failures raised mid-stream.

ntbang0901 555226a9bf fix(ui): start pointer drags only while the primary button is held (#1071)
On macOS, with an editable element focused and an input method active, WebKit can deliver a tap as pointerup then pointerdown, so drag trackers saw every later pointermove as a held button: one tap plus a pointer move started a phantom drag (file drag label, tab detach, tool window move) and the next tap dropped it. A drag now starts only from a move with the primary button down, a move without it cancels the press, and late button-less moves after a drag started are ignored so the drop is kept. Resizers, dialog drag/resize, pan and the review gutter end instead; the Project view also listens for pointercancel.

kkmihaiandkkMihai a3576fca90 fix(vcs): maximize diffs and keep file navigation (#907)
Diff tabs, including the preview tab, get Maximize Editor / Restore Size in their toolbar (reusing Hide All Tool Windows). Show Diff from the Commit view or the Git log now carries the whole change list: F7 / Shift+F7 at the last or first difference shows a hint, and pressing again moves to the first or last difference of the neighbouring file, skipping binary, oversized and unreadable files. The layout is restored after a preview is replaced and keyboard focus stays in the diff across files. Compare branches stays single-file.

ntbang0901 c2fa6f37ab feat(vcs): make unresolved merge conflicts visible wherever they come from (#905)
Conflicts left by stash pop or an automatic stash now get the same editor banner (File has unresolved merge conflicts, Resolve conflicts…) as merge conflicts. Complete conflict markers are reported as errors in every language and listed in Problems (severity under Settings › Editor › Inspections › Version Control). The toolbar shows Resolve/Continue and Abort next to the branch while conflicts or an interrupted operation exist, and the Commit view and Branches popup offer Resolve Conflicts even when no operation is in progress.

ntbang0901 f752f2db08 feat(vcs): make the merge editor work like IntelliJ's merge tool (#902)
The result pane starts from the base and every change, conflicting or not, gets Accept / Ignore next to its side; accepting one side of a conflict still lets the other side be appended, and the modifier key resolves using that side directly. Adds Resolve Simple Conflicts (word-level), Apply Non-Conflicting Changes from the left, right or both (optionally on opening), Revert Conflict Resolution, Accept Yours / Accept Theirs / Cancel / Apply, Compare Contents between any two versions, and undo back to the conflicted state. CRLF and UTF-16 files are written back exactly, deleted sides and binary files are handled, and the commands are registered as merge.* actions.

Shohruh Ismoilovandshohruh-genius 0396f0d552 feat(vcs): recognize moved and edited code in the diff viewer (#868)
Blocks that were moved unchanged, re-indented or moved and then edited are paired across the split diff: each side gets a link to the other (keyboard accessible), moved lines carry a left accent bar, edits inside a moved block get word-level highlights, and the toolbar counts moved blocks and whitespace-only changes. Staging and reverting still work on the original hunks.

时雨遥 f5e12238bb feat(terminal): split the tool window into tab groups, as IDEA (#864)
The Terminal could only split panes inside one tab. Split Right / Split Down now create tab groups, each with its own tabs, + and ▾; tabs can be moved between groups by dragging or Split and Move Right/Down, Unsplit merges a group back, and closing a group's last tab focuses the neighbouring group. Split actions are registered as actions and appear in the tab context menu.

JawandClaude Opus 5.5 07456b2562 fix(editor): show the scrollbar thumb over overview marks (#1031)
The overview lane lies over the vertical scrollbar, so a mark the height of the lane (a new file added to git is one green VCS mark) hid the native thumb completely. The lane now draws the thumb itself, above its marks and without taking the pointer, at the position of the native one (scrollbarThumb, inset by its 2px border); it switches to the hover color while the pointer is on the thumb. The native thumb is made transparent in editors that have the lane, so the two don't add up, and still takes the drag. Editors without the lane (notebook cells, previews) keep the native thumb.

kkmihaiandkkMihai 7af2b098cc feat(terminal): paste clipboard media as file paths (#880)
Pasting an image, audio or video from the clipboard into a local terminal saves the bytes to the per-user terminal cache (20 MB limit, files older than 24 h cleaned up on the next paste, private permissions) and inserts the shell-quoted path without running anything. Copied files paste their original paths, plain text pastes unchanged, and SSH sessions keep the existing remote image-paste route. Paths are quoted per shell (zsh/bash, fish, PowerShell, cmd.exe); fish quoting now escapes backslashes and single quotes.

ntbang0901 7c7d656a50 fix(run): select and copy the whole console output with Select All (#903)
Root cause: Cmd/Ctrl+A in the Run console fell through to the browser and selected the whole window, and copying only saw the rows the virtualizer had mounted. Select All now selects the console only (also in its context menu), and copying after it — keyboard, context menu or native copy — takes the whole buffer. copySelectionOnKeyDown accepts a textOf callback for other views that do not mount all their text.
