ROADMAP.md's released section moves from 0.7.8 to 0.7.9: the heading, the release link, and the published 0.7.9 notes' first two sentences with "OpenRig 0.7.9" written as "it", as the 0.7.8 update did. The pointer to the release notes for what shipped, known issues, upgrade instructions and contributor credits is unchanged. Text only.
ROADMAP.md's "Released" section now names 0.7.8, the current release, instead of 0.7.6. Its summary is the published 0.7.8 notes' first sentence. Nothing else on the roadmap changes.
The roadmap names the current release. The "Released in 0.7.5" section becomes "Released in 0.7.6": its one line links the published 0.7.6 release and summarises it in that release's own title, and points to its release notes for what shipped, known issues, upgrade instructions and contributor credits. Nothing else in the file changes. One file, +2/-2, text only.
The roadmap's released section now points at 0.7.5: more dependable delivery and recovery, plus a preview of task-following terminal views, with a link to its release notes. Nothing else in the roadmap changes.
The roadmap now lists 0.7.4 as released, with a link to its release and its published title, and points readers to the release notes for what shipped, the experimental and security notes for hosted members, upgrade instructions, credits and the remaining testing gaps. It replaces the 0.7.3 section; "How to help", "Testing" and the backlog sections are unchanged. Text only.

The roadmap now lists 0.7.3 as released, with a link to its release and its three themes (participant foundation, attributed shared-channel conversations, actions and perspective for the primary user), in the same shape as the previous release's section. The active section is removed; "How to help", "Testing" and the backlog sections are unchanged. Text only.

ROADMAP.md's "Planned for 0.7.1" heading is now "Planned for 0.7.2", since 0.7.1 is out. It lists 0.7.2's selected themes, each marked "(if ready)": outside assistants over MCP, more harnesses as seats (Hermes, OpenClaw and Cursor), per-seat accounts, member permissions, stream decisions, and named people in Slack. The existing Subscriptions line moves with it, unchanged. No dates and no other changes.
ROADMAP.md stops listing work 0.7.1 already shipped. The five Planned 0.7.1 entries that the published release delivered are removed: team skills, interruption levels (including terminal presets), permissions, bundles, and community contributions, each matched to its merged milestone PRs and the published 0.7.1 release notes. The subscription entry stays, because 0.7.1's boundary record marks that increment partial. Nothing else in the file changes: no rewording, dates or new entries.
Docs only. ROADMAP.md gains a "Planned for 0.7.1" section: team skills through one router that stay out of your project; per-seat interruption levels with presets for managed compaction and model or effort changes; each seat's planned and current permissions; previewing and installing bundles that run services, off by default; subscriptions, if ready; and community contributions to launch, lifecycle, runtimes, observation and delivery.
ROADMAP drops the Slack channel map item (#192): one channel per seat, keyed by channel ID. It's finished, and #192 is closed as completed.
One deleted line; no new roadmap text.
ROADMAP drops three items that are finished, each with its issue closed as completed:
- Codex seats that can reach the local daemon by default (#275).
- Custom Codex providers such as Bedrock (#194).
- A configurable readiness window for fresh launches (#182).
Deletions only; no new roadmap text.
User-visible text now says "harness" for the agent software around a model and "community harness" for a harness someone outside OpenRig maintains and installs as a preset. "Runtime" stays the broad category: the rig spec's `runtime` field and the TUI's runtime column, which also cover terminals and stubs.
Changed wording: `rig agent-app`'s help and list output, the `rig ps` line for a community-harness seat ("Community harness (<seat>): …"), launch warnings, the fork, resume and start errors, the readiness reason, preset problems shown by `rig agent-app list`, `rig ps` and `rig up` preflight, the restore decision and error, one startup error, `docs/reference/agent-startup-guide.md` and `ROADMAP.md`. The human sentence in `agentApp.needsInput` now reads "from the screen only: no harness prompt pattern".
`docs/reference/topology-naming.md` gains a table of what a seat runs: runtime, harness, community harness and terminal.
Unchanged: the `rig agent-app` command, `GET /api/agent-apps`, the `agent-apps` preset folder, the `agent-app` runtime ID, the `agentApp` key, the `app_not_running` code, migration 114 and the `sessions.agent_app` column, and every decision code and condition. Internal identifiers keep their names until that code is next changed.
Tests: three test files update their expected messages. The rendered docs and this branch's CLI help weren't checked by running them.
Refresh the contributor roadmap for people looking for something to help with.
- Where to look: links the roadmap board (what's being worked on, by release and theme) and the repository's contribute page (issues labelled `good first issue`).
- How to help, step 1: comment on an item's issue to say you're working on it and coordinate with others; a maintainer can assign you to make that visible. The tie rule for equivalent pull requests is unchanged.
- More agent apps: a short note replaces the list of specific apps; the design discussion is #43.
- Removed the "merged stage in the project view" item, since #402 is closed.
