The download URL earlier pointed to Abyss Webserver 2.11.8
Now it points towards 2.12 (Build 181220).
Therefore we need to adapt our size & hash information.
The new versions runs almost same as earlier one
and exposes the same known ros-bugs.
Remood 0.9a was affected from CORE-14784, a sound crash
that points to a bug either in Remood 0.9a itself or
within the 3rd party AC97 driver from rapps.
Remood 0.9a crashed in ros *and* 2k3sp2.
Please do not update this app in rapps again before double-checking a new
version does not longer expose said issue.
The author has released an updated version on Aug 30 2018, It should fix some minor bugs and improve the performace slightly.
Update URLDownload, SHA1 and SizeBytes.
Adds Estonian localization for programs (sorted alphabetically) A-J. This PR contains around 71 programs that now have Estonian descriptions and quite a few of those that have Estonian version for download.
I was wrong.
A.S. convinced me and I double-checked on 0.4.10-RC-30-g51a70dc:
Java 8u11 *does* run currently, eventually it is important to *not*
activate any shims (what I did before when it failed for me).
I could install that Java version and afterwards
PdfSam 3.3.5 ran nicely. No reason to stick with the older version.
Still important to note, that Java 8u11 does explicitly warn about
lacking XP support.
For the reasons mentioned in https://jira.reactos.org/browse/CORE-15326
The current version has
-wrong hash
-unstable URL
-no version numbers when binary changes (website, zip-name, exe resources)
-crashes in XP SP3
Even the previous version needed manual workarounds in ros (Mesa3D from rapps)
v3.3.5 requires Java 1.8.0 and that does not run yet on ReactOS and never did up
to now. Until we have the prerequisites running, it makes no sense to have
PdfSam 3.3.5 as a non.working app in rapps.
PdfSam 2.2.4 can be started up with both from our rapps Java versions:
Java 6u45 & 7u80. So let's stick with that older version for now.
The old hash was wrong, because the URL magically changed to newer 14.15.26706.
I tested, we can install this version, but I did not test any app against it.
SHA1 was outdated because unchanged download URL links towards newer 2.1.0.0 now.
Updated SHA1.
Updated SizeInBytes.
Removed mentioning of 7zip for most languages because we have zipfldr now.
URL changed slightly when the version moved into the authors legacy repo.
27.9.4 is still working and is the last version that is not affected by crash in
CORE-15049 yet. We should stick with this version until that ticket got a fix.
Otter Browser aims to recreate the best aspects
of the classic Opera (12.x) UI using Qt5.
Based on QtWebKit and runs rather good on ReactOS.
mentioning

to let the author know.
Updated hash for abyss, fixed the dvdwritenow link (seems like their certificate has expired, using archive.org link instead), added "if_" string to all archive.org links in excelview, officeformatpack and pptview, updated farmanager to the latest version, changed irfanview and irfanveiwplugins links to the more reliable archive.org counterparts, fixed link in kindlepc (using http protocol instead of https), fixed the revo link, updated SizeBytes for steam, also done some other minor improvements and fixes.
The app downloaded also before, but hash was mismatching (although same ver 2.0.0.0).
Confirming the app to be working after download.
Did not want to go back to previous version, because new one is multilingual.
for mfc42.dll, mfc42u.dll, msvbvm60.dll
This little script is a workaround actually.
Developed by me, Jedi-to-be and Doug Lyons.
Script is hosted on our server, when run
it downloads MSVS6 setup,
extracts (currently) 3 files from it
and registers them.
Needed, e.g. for setup of UltraVNC 1.2.1.7
Downgrade to older v1.4 using the still working historic URL.
On 2018-06-13 a commit redirected URL to Scratch 2.0.460.0.1 which does not run
at all due to still missing Kernel32 Vista+ exports.
Mypal is a current and maintained Windows XP web browser.
Mypal is based on Moonchild Productions' Pale Moon code, which itself was
forked from Mozilla's FireFox code several years ago,
but is also maintained and kept current.
The goal of Mypal is to provide a current, secure, and reliable web browser
for Windows XP.
fixes https://github.com/Feodor2/Mypal/issues/18
- Updated most applications to the latest versions (that are working on ReactOS), updated all non-working applications (only if the latest versions were failing due to the same reason), replaced all dead and dynamic links with the archive.org counterparts. Also done some other minor improvements and fixes.
- More reliable links for audacity, irfanview, irfanviewplugins. Fixed link for kindlepc, updated SHA1 hash for steam.
- Fix audacity link.
- Fix archive.org links
- Update VLC media player to version 3.0.3.
- Some of the current archive.org links lack the "if_" string. Will fix them later.
I redirected each link individually to web archive.
Unfortunately two localizations [Section.0413] & [Section.0813]
were not stored in web archive, both fall back to english link now.
Starting from Hiawatha 10.0 their downloads are 64bit and therefore
not suited for ReactOS.
The older 9.14 that we had until around 2016 is broken too,
because they used hard-coded paths in their Hiawatha.bat
that do not necessarily exist in localized Windows or
ReactOS versions.
Therefore sticking to 9.15 seems to be a good idea.
